Travel and experiencing other cultures has always been an important part of my life. Every year, my family would drive around the US to spend time with extended family. And when we were home, we always had international people staying with us and sharing their cultures and experiences with us. Since middle school, my family has been traveling outside of the country to visit the “family” we have made over the past few decades.
